CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
My nephew, Jacob Snelling, had his Cub Scout's Pine Wood Durby on Saturday and he won 3rd Place!! He raced 6 times and won 5 out of 6. On the 1 race he didn't win he still beat 3 of the 6 cars he was racing on that particular race. There was a total of 54 cars, I believe. I am very proud of him and for him. Of course his daddy, my brother Brian, was very pleased as well - since he did a lot of the building of the car with a lot of help from Jacob.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Beautiful Weather & A Fun Saturday
Well, we didn't go out and do much today, but we had some friends over and had a lot of fun relaxing and enjoying the beautiful spring weather. I pulled out the sandals for the first time today and cooler clothes. I love every season and always ready for the next one when it gets here. Easter is just around the corner - two weeks away:)
I had no new pics to post, so I went archiving and found pictures from this week a year ago. I had gahlbladder surgery on March 22, 2006, the day Lindsey turned 2 months. I had a lot of great helpers as you will be able to tell in the pictures I posted.
Have a great Sunday!

Happy 14 Months Old Lindsey
Lindsey is 14 months old today - March 22, 2007. Just yesterday I was commenting to Jonathan that I can't believe that little spit fire is who we brought home from the hospital a little over a year ago. She is so honery and running over with personality. She is a big tease she loves to give hugs and kisses and we love being her parents. She has brought great amounts of joy and love into our home. We are now a family and we are loving it. We couldn't live with out her. Our pride and joy. We love you, Lindsey. Happy 14 months old :)
Lindsey exploring the outdoors & teddy grahams!
Lindsey hasn't spent much time outside yet in her short life so far, so.... she was enjoying and exploring the great outdoors the other day. I dressed her in some half way warm clothes and let her help Grandpa S. pick up sticks in the front yard. She thought it was great.
Then later that evening we went to the grocery store and I let her have a free for all with the chocolate teddy graham cookies. That is verrrry unlike me to let her make a mess and get it on her clothes, but it was keeping her happy and entertained. And.... faces, hands, and clothes do wash :) Enjoy the pics :)

Fast weekend trip to Indy...
Last Saturday afternoon we left for Indy and arrived at the Castleton Mall to meet Jonathan's family a little before 5 p.m. We weren't there too long and then we went on to his parents house. We had a great time being with all of them. We hadn't been over to visit them in about 2 months. We had briefly seen his parents when we met half way, and I saw them at bus convention, but that was it. Lizzi and Lindsey actually played together and interacted for the first time. My little baby is now a little girl and they played very well together. Thank you, Lizzi, for being such a great, nice, and wonderful cousin to Lindsey. And my oh my, Noah is growing like a weed as well. He is now 10 months old and absolutely adorable and as handsome as ever. We spent Sunday with them and headed home around 6:30 p.m. and made it home safely. I was able to get some great pictures so I have attached them for you to view.

For all of you home picture lovers :)
I was at my friend's house - Tamra Craycraft - a couple of weeks ago and was able to get some great pictures of her upstairs. I love the way she decorates - along with my sister-in-law Janella - since they both have a lot of the same tastes. I asked her if I could take some pics and she said that would be fine. I wasn't sure if she wanted me to share them with the world wide web, but she has obliged me in giving me permission to post them here on my famous blog - so here they are. Enjoy! (The downstairs is just as nice, but I wanted no people pictures - for the purpose of having just home pictures - so that's why you only get to see the upstairs.)

My week - - -
Well, I actually had more to post about than what I thought or at least more pictures to share than what I thought. I downloaded the pictures I had taken this week and I really got some good pics. There are lots of comments / captions notated on the pictures - so be sure to read there for more details.
Friday evening we went to the parsonage for our Homebuilders quarterly get together. Our Young Adults are divided into two groups that meet monthly for their regular Homebuilders session, but once a quarter we all get together for a fun time and that was the event this time. We had a great time. I have attached some pictures of this as well. Enjoy!
------
On a side note - for all of those who love to see what time I actually do my posting since it is usually in the middle of the night - well the time has now been removed. I didn't remove it so you wouldn't know, but since the time change it is incorrect and that annoys me, so it's gone for now. It may come back at a later date, but for now it's gone. Sorry to disappoint any of you who may pay attention to this :) I tried to correct it, but when I got it to show the correct time it changed all the previous posting times for the dates even before the time change and so all of them then showed the wrong time.

Have a great rest of the weekend!

Life is busy...
Well, here it has been another 3 days already since I posted. I apologize, but nothing exciting has really happened. I have been busy, but not really posting material. I have been shopping some for Lindsey's upcoming wardrobe for the warm months. That is tons of fun for me, but probably not for you to hear about every detail. I would much rather buy for her than even look in my department let alone buy. Yes, I do shop some for myself, but not near what I do for Lindsey. It is hard to shop for Lindsey just for the simple fact that every where you turn there is another absolutely adorable item/outfit that you want to get and it actually becomes a hard decision. At least for me "the shopper" it is. Bye for now and I will try to post again soon.
I have attached a few pics from this time last year. Enjoy!!

Lindsey in her LONG Jean skirt :)
I just got thru saying in the last couple of weeks that I wished I could find Lindsey a LONG Jean skirt and here I already had one and didn't know it. I was going thru clothes that I had stored away for when Lindsey got bigger. Well she's a little bigger now :) so I was going thru it for the upcoming warmer months and found a jean skirt that used to be Jenna's. I think it is so cute. I bought myself an orange sweater on Saturday for $4 so I wanted to wear it and so I dressed Lindsey to match Mommy with our Long Jean Skirts :)

- UPDATE - More on Brian & Janella's House
I have now updated my link with MORE pictures of my brother's house that I had previously posted and I delted and replaced the kids bathroom pictures. Please note the picture hanging in the bathroom - Janella and her sister Jennifer painted it. They did a great job and I really like it. Feel free to check the new pics if you are interested. This is especially for you Aunt Ruthie, you said you couldn't get the feel of how the house is layed out so hopefully this helps. :)
I have attached pictures of my brother Brian's new house that they just had built this past summer. They moved in the end of August 2006.
For those of you who are interested - take a look.

Report on Bus Convention Trip
Well, we're back home and we had a great time at Bus Convention. This year it was held in Camby, IN at the Nazarene Indianapolis Distirct campground, Camp Camby. It is about 10 miles from the Indianapolis airport. We stayed at the Ramada by the airport on Tues, Wed, & Thurs night. We had a great time and made lots of memories. Jonathan didn't get to go because of work, but Lindsey and myself went with my Mom & Dad. We left for Indiana on Tuesday afternoon and went to my cousins house, Philip & Rachael Going, on the way. Their daughter Tiffany was having a 4th Birthday Party so we were able to help them celebrate and spend some time with our family. Then we traveled on to the Convention in time for the opening service on Tuesday evening. Bro. Stetler was the main speaker and he did an awesome job. The Convention was quite tiring with Lindsey having an odd schedule and we didn't seem to get much sleep at night. Each morning started before 8 a.m. My cousins, David & Martha Going and their kids came for both the Wednesday and Thursday evening services. My Aunt Ruthie and Uncle Terry Going were able to be there the whole convention and we were able to spend quite a bit of time with them and eat lunch with them both days. On Wednesday we ate at Gray Brothers Cafeteria in Mooresville, IN. On Friday we headed home around 1 p.m. Once we were home we were only home for a short while before we headed out to my nephews birthday party which will be noted in another post.
Thank you Mom & Dad for letting me tag along. I had a great time and I'm so glad that I am here and able to help you out. Lindsey says, thanks as well.

Off to Bus Convention we go..........
We are leaving early Tuesday afternoon and will be eating an early supper at my cousins Philip & Rachael Going in Greenfield, IN and then on to Camby, IN by 7 pm for the opening service. We got a motel near the Indianapolis Airport, which is less than 10 miles from where the Convention is. There is a total of 32 sessions/workshops to choose from that will be during the day on Wed & Thurs, but there is only enough time to go to 8 of them and they are each approx 1 hour long. We will return home on Friday in time for Mom to be to her next therapy appointment that afternoon.
Of course I am getting to go with Mom & Dad because Mom couldn't go without me coming along to help her out due to still recovering from her shoulder surgery. I am her beautician ++++ :) She truly is getting better, but she still can't lift her arm on her own power above her waist. She is planning on going back to work next Monday on the 12th. That will be 5 weeks out from her surgery date.
This all means that there won't be any blogging until this weekend. I apologize to my loyal readers in advance.
Now, onto my past weekend report. Of course we were in revival, so I was in church, but we did other things as well. Jonathan and I had a very full day on Saturday. We had an errand to run in the early afternoon and we did some quick shopping. Then we were invited to go to lunch/supper with Paul, Jenn, & Katrin Eckert to Don Pablo's to celebrate Paul's Birthday. We had a great time and they graciously attended church with us afterwards even though that isn't what you normally think of doing when making birthday plans. Sunday night after church my entire family was invited to Shane & Tamra Craycrafts for a snack. We had a great time and a lot of fun. Thanks for the invite!
Well later for now. Have a great week!
I have attached a few pics from our weekend.

Selected Favorite Pictures
Here are some of my favorite pics over the last few months - mostly before I started blogging. Please note the captions on the pictures for more details. I only wish that scrapbooking was as easy as blogging :) I would really love to do it, but I really don't have the place and I don't have the time to keep putting it up and taking it back down. I need to be able to leave it and come back to it and it all still be right where I left it, which is impossible with a 13 month old under foot. :) I hope you enjoy the pictures I will be adding more later, but for now, here is what I have picked out.

Me and 2 of my 3 sister in laws
I really like this pic. It is going back in history, but it is one of my favorites. It was taken over 4 years ago on 11/30/2002. We were at Chuck E Cheeses for my nieces 4th Birthday Party. It is my brother, Bradley's wife on the left, Lisa. Of course me in the middle. It is my other brother, Brian's wife on the right, Janella (and she was 7 months pg with my niece Jenna).
